I love this word for a few reasons. One, it's more of a mechanical, scientific term; it's not necessarily something you'd see in everyday life. Two, it's a beautiful word to look at. And three, I love what it means:
As you may have guessed from our science words writing prompt, I love taking technical terms and giving them a beautiful new context.
Dig it? Let's get started:
1. Use the Word of the Day to inspire you: free write for ten minutes, sketch a drawing, write a list of words that sound similar to the Word of the Day, call your mom, etc.
2. Compose a poem (one page or less).
3. Use the Word of the Day as your poem's title OR use the Word of the Day somewhere in your poem. Your choice!
Happy writing, friends! And don't forget to check back for next week's Word Nerd Wednesday!
