Calling all poets!
Are you aware that National Poetry Month starts in 9 days?! Come April 1st, we'll be diving in to National Poetry Month, and we encourage you to get in on the celebration. National Poetry Month is the perfect time to shake off that writing funk or to keep pushing your daily writing sessions to go even further. It's practically a month-long holiday for poets; what's not to love? It's our time to shine, people!
So, what's National Poetry Month?
Aside from the best month ever? Let's drop some knowledge. In 1996, the American Academy of Poets started National Poetry Month, and it's been celebrated each April since then. Want to know the best part? National Poetry Month is for everyone! Seriously, anyone and everyone can join in on the National Poetry Month party.
