The Prompt
Imagine you're walking at night. Where are you walking? Start there: write down where you are. Look at the big picture, and then make note of the minutia in your dreamscape.
Of course, you're asleep. But do you realize you're asleep? What do you see before you wake up? How do you wake up -- slowly or all at once? What's the transition like between sleeping and waking? Is there a twilight area? Take this experience in and consider the in-between areas that fall between the cracks of your consciousness.
