Say Where…?

Maybe you’ve been there, maybe you live there, maybe you were born there…

Chances are, you haven’t seen the locations I’m going to list. Your challenge, poet, is to write about these places, maybe incorporating the names of the city or town into a poem if you choose, but resisting the urge to Google search what these places may actually look like.  Trust me, for most of the places, you can get all the inspiration you need from reading their names and then seeing them in your mind’s eye. Seeing a Google Earth image of any town usually isn’t all that exciting… in my experience. To you, poet, what settings do the names of the following towns create? What events would happen there? How would you feel walking along the road? What would you see and hear?
